Pow Wow Pitch, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Indigenous entrepreneurs, proudly announces the expansion of its partnership with RBC for the sixth consecutive year as a Co-Presenting Partner for the 2025 Pow Wow Pitch Program.
Building on years of partnership, RBC will continue to provide judges and mentors for Pow Wow Pitch events, offering invaluable insights and guidance to participants. The partnership will also expand its reach through RBC’s marketing platforms, storytelling channels and outreach initiatives, amplifying the visibility of Indigenous entrepreneurs and their businesses.
“For the past six years, RBC has been proud to partner with Pow Wow Pitch to foster the growth of Indigenous entrepreneurs as they bring to life innovative ideas and become part of a thriving community of changemakers,” said Chinyere Eni, Head of RBC Origins. “As we continue this collaboration with Pow Wow Pitch, we remain committed to empowering the economic resilience and success of the Indigenous entrepreneurs by providing and amplifying the awareness of meaningful tools, resources and mentorship opportunities through the program.”
As part of their continued commitment, RBC will also provide experts for specialized webinars and the Pow Wow Pitch Finalist Bootcamp, ensuring Indigenous entrepreneurs have access to the tools and expertise needed to grow their businesses. Furthermore, we will be recognizing and celebrating excellence in Indigenous entrepreneurship through the Indigenous Entrepreneur Awards, honouring their outstanding contributions to economic growth and community development.
Naomi Sarazin, Executive Director of Pow Wow Pitch, expressed her excitement, stating, “We are thrilled to have RBC continue its partnership with Pow Wow Pitch to advance economic reconciliation and answer the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada’s Call to Action. Our collaboration with RBC has been instrumental in our mission to support Indigenous entrepreneurs and foster economic empowerment within Indigenous communities. Through our work, we’ve been able to provide invaluable resources and opportunities to aspiring Indigenous entrepreneurs, helping to bridge the gap in economics and create a more inclusive and sustainable future.”
This expanded partnership underscores a shared commitment to providing Indigenous entrepreneurs with increased visibility, resources, and mentorship, fostering economic empowerment across Indigenous communities. With RBC’s deepened in-kind support and marketing collaboration, Pow Wow Pitch will continue to create meaningful opportunities for Indigenous businesses across Turtle Island and beyond.
