In addition to providing funding to help Pow Wow Pitch scale its impact, Altis Recruitment is offering HR advisory services to help grow and strengthen the Pow Wow Pitch team, along with mentorship for Indigenous entrepreneurs.

Since Altis’s inception in 1989, it has grown to be one of Canada’s largest independent staffing firms, supporting over 2,900 clients nationwide and placing over 8,000 candidates each year in roles spanning industries and sectors across the country. This partnership advances one of Pow Wow Pitch’s strategic pillars to drive long-term growth and success—Great Talent & Culture

In addition to HR advisory services, Altis will offer coaching support to the Pow Wow Pitch program and mentorship to Pow Wow Pitch entrepreneurs, sharing industry expertise and offering valuable insights to empower Indigenous entrepreneurs on their journey to success.

This year, Altis will partner with Pow Wow Pitch on the 2025 Indigenous Entrepreneur Awards for the first time, further celebrating and recognizing Indigenous business excellence.

“As an entrepreneur and business owner, I know firsthand how challenging it is to launch and grow a startup and am thrilled to be able to contribute to the success of Indigenous entrepreneurs through this meaningful partnership,” said Kathryn Tremblay, Co-Founder and Owner of Altis Recruitment

“Partnering with Pow Wow Pitch will enable our team to support Indigenous entrepreneurs in meaningful ways—through mentorship, collaboration and community. We’re honoured to play a role in their journey and celebrate their many contributions to business and culture across Turtle Island,” said Andie Andreou, CEO of Altis Recruitment.

“We are thrilled to welcome Altis as a partner in our mission to empower Indigenous entrepreneurs and foster a more inclusive world,” said Naomi Sarazin, Executive Director of Pow Wow Pitch. “Altis’ commitment to mentorship, community building, and strategic support will strengthen the foundation for long-term success within our community. Their support will help us scale our impact, providing more Indigenous business owners with the resources, guidance, and connections they need to thrive.”

Together, Pow Wow Pitch and Altis are strengthening the foundation of community-driven entrepreneurship. This partnership is creating new opportunities for connection, growth, and success. As both organizations work to empower individuals and foster inclusive communities, their collaboration will leave a lasting impact—helping entrepreneurs thrive and building a stronger, more connected future.
